I've spent the last thirteen years learning about, training and working dogs on stock. Until recently I was managing a sheep property and doing all the stock work with my own team of dogs, and I also compete in various types of working dog trials on weekends. I started my working dog journey with a Koolie dog named Yamba while living in Canberra, and relied on experienced handlers to help me on my way. Now it's my turn to do the same!

 

There is nothing better than seeing that moment when a working dog switches on to stock and brings out their natural instinct to work. It's a path to a more fulfilling life for your dog and a stronger bond between you both, with the ability to progress to competition if you have the desire and ability!
