WHAT WE OFFER
SHEEPDOG/HERDING LESSONS
Herding lessons are for any dog of working ancestry, to see if they have the natural instinct to work sheep! A combination of theory and time working sheep, your dog will have a chance to use their herding instincts in a safe, constructive way. Our usual herding stars are Kelpies, Border Collies, Koolies, Heelers, Aussie Shepherds and crosses of these, but we have also worked with Shelties, German Shepherds and Old English Sheepdogs! While not every dog will be suited to herding, we are open to any dog with herding ancestry having a go.

We offer private lessons that run for 45 minutes to an hour, located at between Cowra and Woodstock in NSW.
BEHAVIOURAL TRAINING
While the bulk of my work is herding lessons, I do offer behavioural sessions by negotiation. I have a good working knowledge of many different training approaches, including operant conditioning, classical conditioning and methods used in sheepdog training. I am open minded and flexible when it comes to training and use different methods depending on the dog in front of me! I am less focussed on 'obedience' type behaviours, and more on managing the dogs mental state, teaching them to navigate our world calmly and confidently, while learning impulse control and emotional regulation.
